The College of Arts was founded during the summer of 2004 AD - 1424 AH. with three divisions: Arabic Language, Archeology, and Sociology. then The Media Department was established in 2017.

89 students enrolled in the college's inaugural academic year (2004-2005). (the sixth of November 2004 AD corresponding to 23 Ramadan 1425 AH).

The sixth of November has been designated as the college's literary, scientific, and appreciation celebration day.

The college specialises in the study of humanities and social sciences, works to prepare researchers and specialists in it, and aims to disseminate scientific knowledge by adopting scientific research methods, fostering critical consideration of thought, and contributing to the development and upbringing of a creative intellectual qualified to participate in the material and spiritual development of society.
